The Grand Egyptian Museum, at the foot of the pyramids, displays the whole of Tutankhamun’s treasure for the first time. Your guide takes you straight to the essentials: the Grand Staircase of the kings, the funerary mask, the chariots and the solar boats.
In the afternoon, we head to Coptic Cairo and its Hanging Church, before ending the day amid the bustle of the Khan el-Khalili bazaar.
